Michael + Meaghan in NYC!!

So last month we ventured down to New York City for the most amazing foto shoot of our couple Michael and Meaghan. We love to visit the city when we can, and we were so excited to finally be asked to do a shoot there!!! Michael was groomsmen at Efrem & Mumtaz Zimbalist's beautiful wedding that we shot last August.

Michael and Meaghan is such a hot couple, they made it easy for us. We captured so many fun and romantic images of them, it was so hard to narrow it down.

Part of the reason we really love to do shoots of our couples before their wedding, is to really get to know them. After spending the day with this amazing couple, we all felt so comfortable with each other that we can't wait to fotograph their wedding in April. It's going to be at the prestigious Waldorf Astoria in NYC.

So we started this amazing shoot in the Michelangelo luxury hotel near Times Square.













Then it was off the beautiful Central Park...







After the sun set we had an amazing dinner at the bistro Rue 57. The food and wine were incredible- thank you Michael and Meaghan for treating us to such fab dinner!!! I was on a mission to find the famous Love sculpture in before we left, and we randomly found it while heading back to the hotel for a clothes change...lucky us!!

All you need is love!!!



No trip to NYC is complete without strolling down the center of Times Square at night!!!! How romantic the lights are at night!















and no trip to Times Square is complete without playing inToys R Us of course! Check out this red hot wall of lights with this red hot couple!!





When we were all tired, Michael asked us if we'd like to check out the ESPN Sports Zone for a drink and some fun arcade games!!! What a blast and the perfect way to unwind for the evening.





Thanks guys for an amazing day.....we can't wait to hang out again!! And thank you for inviting us to your engagement party the next evening.... it was so great to meet everyone!

Sorry Mary and Justin :(

So our good friends Mary and Justin have been scolding us for not seeing "Superbad"so we rented it with the expectations of "American Pie" on steroids. Well... the steroids must have been an off brand from Walmart or they expired a few years ago at best. I felt as if I have seen it all or heard it all. It was "Super Troopers" meets "American Pie". I will admit there were some funny spots that I lost it for a bit, however I became aware of the time about 1/2 way through witch usually is the death of a movie for me. The best part of the movie for me was the cops living vicariously through Fogal "mcLovin" while trying desperately to return to there youth. All in all I thought the movie was trying to be "wrong" or over the top but never actually got there.



One thumb up (made me laugh a bit) and one thumb down (writing and originality, felt really long).

PS "Super Troopers" was awesome...meow :p

Diana + Christos Engagement Shoot!!

In October we spent a nice warm day with the lovely couple Diana and Christos, whos wedding we are shooting next year. We had such a blast with them, going to the Berlin Fair in Diana's hometown of Berlin, CT, where we laughed together while riding on the ferris wheel, merry-go-round, a super-gigantic slide, and got sticky with cotton-candy! It brought back tons of childhood memories- my parents grew up in Berlin also, and I grew up going to that fair year after year!














After that we got lunch at the fab Mortenson's Diner on the Berlin Tpke. After that, it was off to Lyman Orchards, an amazing place to visit in the fall! The place was packed with people getting their apple pies, picking apples and pumpkins, but we managed to find a few secluded areas in the orchard to shoot. How romantic!!! This couple is so cute, we cannot wait to be part of their wedding day!!!
