Last night Krystal and I watched
"Who Killed the Electric Car?"Where do I start...Why do we have people running our country that do no care about "We The People". I am not trying to make this a bleeding heart democrat statement, but why is it that our leaders do not seem to care about change, or the future of us as a people. I sold cars for 2 years after college in the years of 1999-2000, yet I NEVER heard about the GM EV1. Supposedly there "wasn't enough demand". How can there be a demand with NO advertising? California is probably the biggest culprit of the death of the Electric Car. They passed a law called the "zero emissions law", however when automakers sued; California revoked the law, almost like saying "your right...sorry about that." Before I make this a 10 page essay on frustrated ramblings I will sum up with this. I lived through an automobile revolution, partially while working in the automotive industry and I never knew about it until last night. ARGH! Anyway I strongly recommend watching this movie.
PS. Watch the movie "BOBBY" and listen for the similarities of today. Its 2007 and some of the largest problems of 1968 are still being worked on?!?!?!?
