A snowy April 4, 2006. Where the heck is Spring. Side note did you know that on April 5, 2006 at 1:02:03 it wil be 10203040506 it wont happen until the year 2106 cool huh!

Removing the front of the building.

YES! We removed the whole front of the building.

Removal of the frieze.

Taking a break from demoing the frieze. It was made out of tin and housed about 100 birds nests. ick!

The Floor.....

We found that the floor was 5-6"thick from years of adding to what was there. It ALL had to come up, all 2200ft2. Oh we removed all the windows also.

The Building had a fire years ago, we found the soot.

First the Cielling!

Its a dirty job but it had to be done!

64 main inside before the demo crew.

Little did we know that the plaster and drop cielling were hiding the years of neglect and horrible carpentry.

Krystal claimed the doors for her very own project, I did the hinges. Scraping, fixing, staining, finishing.

It all started in the Uconn color dark room

Once upon a time ther were 8-10 students in a color dark room at Univerity of Connecticut. For those of you who haven't had the experience of a color dark room there are NO lights and most glow in the dark things are bad also. The professor states that there is a good likleyhood of some sort of relationship to emege from this semesters work in the "color dark room". Well I will cut to begining of our story by saying Krystal And I (Paul) opened Studio Foto in Stafford Springs in late 1999 in the basement of a framing shop.
